A Good Day Out at 7th Day Brewery, and how our Margarita on Tap rocked the crowd

The Northern Beaches was buzzing for the pre-summer festival A Good Day Out at 7th Day Brewery in Brookvale.
The event opened midday and ran well into the evening, with local bands, DJs, food and drink, and community-energy buzzing in the air. 

Why this event was special

• The festival was free and aimed at bringing the local community together around live music, craft drink and good causes. 

• It was held at 7th Day Brewery’s taproom + car-park space in Brookvale, giving a more relaxed, neighbourhood feel than big city festivals. 

• The vibe: music from local bands like The Good Kids and others, plus DJs till late, and the whole community turning up. 

• Our brand, Muchacha Brewing Co, was there with our Margarita on Tap, and we’re proud to say it ended up being the best-selling drink of the day at the festival.

What happened at our stand

We set up our tap, cans, and mixer-kit display in a high-traffic zone. We made sure everyone knew: it’s 10% ABV, made right here in Sydney, and built for good times.
By early afternoon the queue was growing. As the music ramped up and the crowd spread out across the beer garden and stage area, our Margarita on Tap kept flowing.
Feedback we heard:

• “That’s the smoothest marg I’ve had all day.”

• “Perfect for a sunny festival.”

• “Can we get another one right away?”
  By the end of the evening our tally showed we outsold many of the other drinks, making us the top pick for festival-goers.
