Refund Policy – Muchacha Brewing Co.

1. Returns & Refunds

  • If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us within 14 days of delivery.

  • We will inspect the returned item and, if approved, issue a refund to the original payment method.

  • Refunds exclude items opened or consumed, unless the fault arises directly from manufacturing or shipping.

2. Unopened Goods

  • Unopened goods may be returned for a full refund (including shipping cost incurred by us) provided they are returned within 30 days of receipt. This aligns with standard practice in the Australian spirits retail industry.

  • The product must be in original packaging and condition.

3. Non-returnable Items

  • Products that have been opened, consumed or that break hygiene/age compliance (e.g., alcohol beverages) are non-returnable unless faulty.

  • We cannot accept returns of glassware or accessories for hygiene reasons. 

4. Shipping Costs & Responsibility

  • If the return is due to our error (faulty product or incorrect item), we cover the return shipping cost.

  • If you change your mind, shipping costs for the return are at your expense.

  • Risk passes to you upon delivery.

5. How to Request a Return

  • Email us at info@muchachabrewingco.com with your order number, reason for return, and a photo if applicable.

  • We will provide instructions and mailing address for returns.

  • Do not send goods back without prior confirmation from us.

6. Timeframe for Refunds

  • Once we receive and approve the return, refunds will be processed within 7 business days.

  • The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.

7. Exchanges & Replacements

  • We may offer an exchange or replacement instead of a refund at our discretion.

  • If an exchange causes extra shipping cost, you will be informed.

8. Australian Consumer Law

  • Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, unsafe or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a remedy.
